Digital Alchemy is proud to announce the immediate availability of 
Cartoforge for Palm OS.  Cartoforge drops the 'Dungeons' moniker of its 
sibling to go beyond mere dungeon adventures, including symbols for 
scifi, modern, outdoor, castles, and more. 

Cartoforge doesnt stop at additional symbols though, smart tools for 
forests, mountains, and deserts are also available, as well as the 
addition of a number of gamemaster tools.  Here are the highlights:

Beastiary
An expandible set of creature templates, you can use to generate random 
cast member stats on the fly when you need them, as well as provide a 
reference of creature descriptions, special attacks, etc. 

Random Map Generator
Cartoforge includes a Geomorph based random map generator.  Create any 
number of 12x12 symbol mini-maps and the random map generator uses them 
to create random maps on the fly.  It comes setup for dungeon maps, but 
is user expandable for caverns, scifi deckplans, outdoors, etc.  The 
possibilities are endless.

Die Roller
A simple die roller for those times when you need to roll without the 
players knowing.  Select the # of dice, # of sides, and any modifier 
and roll the results.  supports coin toss, and fudge dice with word 
representations of the results as well at 4,6,8,10,12,20, and 
percentile dice.

Gamemasters Journal
A dated journal not tied to any adventure, lets you record play session 
dates, important events for your gaming group, etc.

Gamemaster/Player Text
All fields now have separate 'player' or flavor text fields, which the 
new desktop software can selectively output in your exported adventures.

Desktop Software
The Desktop software from Cartoforge: Dungeons has been enhanced for 
use with Cartoforge and is now included with the product, instead of 
requiring a separate purchase.

Cartoforge is now available for download from our website, so feel free 
to check it out for yourself. It uses different databases from those 
used in CFD so it wont effect your existing CFD adventures.

Cartoforge retails for $29.95 (download) or $34.95 (retail) and is now 
available for evaulation and purchase.  As a special thank-you for all 
the folks who have purchased Cartoforge: Dungeons we are making 
Cartoforge available at our website for $10 for any registered user of 
Cartoforge: Dungeons.
